Dear Members, Dear Friends,

You have surely learned with emotion about the recent decision of the Founding Executive President of AISA to pass the torch, in order to enjoy a much-needed and well-deserved true retirement, 35 years after founding AISA and 57 years of working in social services.

It is with respect and humility that I recognize the magnitude of the task entrusted to me by Mr. Jean-Claude Mamar to succeed him in leading AISA, and I thank him for his confidence.

Those who know me, particularly through my work within the Cultural team, know that I also uphold the values that have always been dear to Jean-Claude and AISA. I am thinking especially of sharing, curiosity, the joy of discovery, and living well together, always placing humanity and kindness at the center of our focus.

Rest assured that together, with my Executive Vice Presidents, Christian Morin and Michel Soto, and the entire Bureau team, our charming and dedicated assistants, the volunteers who manage AISA’s 24 sections, and all of you, dear conscious consumers who recognize and applaud the beneficial impact of our Association on the daily lives and morale of its members, we will strive to keep the « oxygen lung » that is AISA alive, while evolving and growing it to adapt to the changes in our environment and the essential needs of its Members.

I wish you a very pleasant summer and look forward to seeing you soon to begin a new season of leisure, sports, shared good times, and well-being together.

Warm regards,

Cathy Simonne-Jondot
